Microwave meals for those who struggle
Who has time to stand in front of the stove and cook a meal, when you have so many deadlines to meet and assignments to submit? Try these 7 minutes and under microwave meals to make your life 10 times easier than it already was!
Your average microwave can do more than just warm up your food, it can cook it for you too.

Your breakfast fix
Don’t leave home without breakfast. Cook some eggs while you get ready.
In a greased microwave-safe bag add scrambled eggs, salt, pepper, diced tomato and microwave for 1 minute 20 seconds.
Add some scallions and cheese for added nutrients and benefits!

We don’t know about you, but a steaming plate of pasta is our comfort food. And it’s quick too because we have a microwave recipe for you!
Pasta in a mug:
In a mug add 1/2 cup of pasta, fill water, 2tbsp of oil, salt, pepper, and chili flakes to taste. Put it in for 5 minutes. Once done add some chopped onions, tomatoes spring onion, and 2 tbsp of milk and put it in 2 minutes. wait for the ding and enjoy your hot pasta straight out of a mug.
Note: Make sure the mug is microwave safe.
Pizza sounds good, right? It will sound even better if you don’t have to pay and can make it in a microwave.
Here’s how to make it:
Pizza in a budget:
Mix 4 tbsp of flour, 1/8 tsp baking powder, 1/16 tsp baking soda, and salt to taste in a microwavable mug. Add in 3 tbsp milk and 1 tbsp oil, then mix together. There might be some lumps but that is okay. Spoon on 1 tbsp of marinara sauce and spread it around the surface of the batter.
Sprinkle on a good amount of cheese, pepperoni, and top with herbs. Microwave for 2 minutes, or until it rises up and the toppings are bubbling.
Craving something sweet ?
What’s dinner without dessert? Whip up a quick fix to your aching sweet tooth. Don’t feel guilty about the calories, because this recipe has very few of them!
1 ripe banana (mashed), 2 – 1/2 tbsp rolled oats and a handful of chocolate chips.
Additional: Raisins if you are not one of us.
Spoon out on a baking tray, and put them in for 2 – 1/2 minutes and enjoy while they last.
